Monte Consulting provided marketing communications consulting and a full marketing media collection for the Pine Mountain Music Festival. The project includes a logo, website, ticket brochure, posters, programs, newsletter, and photography.
The festival, which brings opera, chamber, and jazz music to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, has evolved over its 18 year lifetime. Its original identity, which was conceived at the festival's inception, was no longer a representation of the organization's style and character.
Monte Consulting developed a marketing strategy and visual identity that would communicate the festival's bold, youthful music and performers. To dispel the image of stuffy performances and expensive tickets, the visual identity uses unexpected photography and bold, bright colors. The logo was redesigned with hints at music, mountains, and Lake Superior, which dominates the festival's location.
As the season progresses, Monte Consulting will continue to work with Pine Moutnain to photograph events and plan upcoming outreach events to reach out to non-traditional potential audiences.
